Armed Forces Retraining & Employment Support

Supporting the Armed Forces Community into Skills Training and Civilian Employment

Turning Military Experience into Civilian Opportunity

At NC Group, we recognise the valuable skills, experience and qualities that members of the Armed Forces develop throughout their military careers.

As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and holder of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award, we are committed to supporting veterans, service leavers, reservists and military families.

Through training, recognised qualifications and employer partnerships, we create pathways that enable members of the Armed Forces community to transfer their skills, develop new capabilities and build rewarding civilian careers.

From Military Service to Civilian Career

Service leavers and veterans bring a wealth of skills and experience that employers value, including leadership, teamwork, technical expertise, discipline, and problem-solving.

However, translating military experience into recognised qualifications and civilian career opportunities can sometimes be challenging.

"

“Previous involvement in criminality should never fully define a person or deter them from wanting to make positive changes for themselves, their loved ones or those they may have harmed as a result of their actions.

We believe that with the right support, opportunities to access training and education, previous involvement with the Criminal Justice System should not prevent someone from personal and professional development, building a successful career or positively contributing to their community.” – Becky Childs
