This apprenticeship develops new, existing and aspiring leaders, to enable them to effectively lead their people to improve operational performance.

Course Overview

The Team Leader apprenticeship operates across a wide range of sectors, including private, public, and third sector organisations of all sizes.

Whilst at NC Group, we focus on the manufacturing sector, this apprenticeship focuses on all sectors and the core knowledge, skills, and behaviours required.

This programme is structured to develop those foundational competencies that are critical for success in any leadership setting.

Throughout the programme, learners will build their capabilities in key areas, including leading a team, building a high-performance team, difficult conversations, project management, planning and resource allocation.

The programme also covers strategies for delivering operational plans, resolving challenges, and creating strong working relationships both within the organisation and with external stakeholders.

By the end of the programme, participants will be fully equipped to lead with confidence and drive team performance.

Fully funded or co-funded at £250

Funding Options

Funding is available via the Apprenticeship Levy and Digital Account System.

An employer contribution of 5% of the standard cost may be required depending on levy funds available and your business size.

The EPA consists of 2 assessment methods:
