Course Information

This apprenticeship is designed to develop new and existing staff to enable them to organise and coordinate a network of interconnected functions to deliver goods and services to the end customer.

Course Overview

The Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner (FMCG) Apprenticeship equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours essential to effectively manage supply chain operations within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments. 


Apprentices will develop a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, demand planning, and supplier relationship management. 


The programme emphasises operational efficiency, problem-solving, and the application of technology to optimise performance. 


Learners will gain practical experience in monitoring stock levels, coordinating transportation, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to meet customer expectations. 


Through real-world projects and workplace mentoring, apprentices enhance their communication, team collaboration, and commercial awareness. 


On completion, individuals will be capable of contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting sustainable supply chain practices, and making informed decisions that drive business performance. This apprenticeship prepares participants for career progression within the dynamic FMCG sector.

Course Price

Fully funded or co-funded at £750

Funding Options

Funding is available via the Apprenticeship Levy and Digital Account System.

An employer contribution of 5% of the standard cost may be required depending on levy funds available and your business size.

End Point Assessment

This EPA has 3 assessment methods.

- Assessment method 1 - multiple choice test

- Assessment method 2 - project and presentation

- Assessment method 3 - interview underpinned by a portfolio of evidence
