This programme blends practical hands-on experience with theoretical understanding, ensuring apprentices develop proficiency in fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and compliance with industry safety standards.
Participants will gain expertise in interpreting technical drawings, using precision tools, and applying problem-solving techniques to real-world engineering challenges.
Throughout the apprenticeship, learners will engage with digital systems, maintenance planning, and reliability improvement strategies, preparing them for immediate contribution in industrial settings.

Funding Options
Funding is available via the Apprenticeship Levy and Digital Account System.
An employer contribution of 5% of the standard cost may be required depending on levy funds available and your business size.
End Point Assessment
The EPA consists of 3 assessment methods:
- Assessment method 1 - observation with questions
- Assessment method 2 - interview underpinned by a portfolio of evidence
- Assessment method 3 - multiple-choice test
