This apprenticeship prepares individuals to work effectively in a range of warehouse environments, supporting the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain.

Course Overview

The Supply Chain Warehouse Apprenticeship prepares individuals to work effectively in a range of warehouse environments, supporting the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain. 


Learners will develop practical skills in handling deliveries, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, storing stock, picking and packing orders, loading goods for dispatch, maintaining accurate stock records, and keeping work areas clean and safe. 


Participants will gain competence in safely using various equipment and machinery relevant to their role, including mechanical racking systems, materials handling equipment (MHE), and forklift trucks. 


They will also become proficient in industry-standard warehouse management systems, enabling them to operate efficiently and accurately under pressure.


Upon completion of the programme, learners will be fully equipped to perform the duties of a supply chain warehouse operative confidently and competently. 


They will have the knowledge and skills required to meet operational demands, maintain safety standards, and contribute positively to their organisation’s supply chain success.

Course Price

Fully funded or co-funded at £250

Funding Options

Funding is available via the Apprenticeship Levy and Digital Account System.

An employer contribution of 5% of the standard cost may be required depending on levy funds available and your business size.

End Point Assessment

The EPA consists of 2 assessment methods:

- Assessment method 1 - Interview with portfolio of evidence

- Assessment method 2 - Observation with questions
